Thông tin chia sẻ tại Hội thảo Viettel M2M IoT diễn ra ngày 14/6. Chương trình có sự tham gia của các chuyên gia từ hơn 300 doanh nghiệp trong và ngoài nước. Ông Nguyễn Trọng Tính, Phó tổng giám đốc Viettel Telecom cho biết IoT (Internet of Things) đang phát triển với tốc độ nhanh chóng và trở thành một trong những xu hướng công nghệ quan trọng hàng đầu hiện nay. Trên thế giới có gần 15 tỷ kết nối IoT, tức mỗi người đang kết nối gần hai thiết bị thông minh qua Internet. Nhưng tại Việt Nam, con số này chỉ bằng 1/20 so với trung bình thế giới.
Ông Tính tin rằng lĩnh vực IoT sẽ phát triển mạnh mẽ khi các doanh nghiệp, đơn vị viễn thông – công nghệ thông tin cùng nhau giải quyết bài toán kỹ thuật hạ tầng, hợp tác phát triển thị trường này. Riêng Viettel, nhà mạng có nhiều giải pháp thúc đẩy sự phát triển IoT, đơn cử như nền tảng quản lý kết nối CMP (Connectivity Management Platform).
Với khả năng kết nối hàng triệu thiết bị và thu thập dữ liệu từ môi trường xung quanh, IoT mang lại nhiều lợi ích đáng kể cho doanh nghiệp, từ tối ưu nguồn nhân lực đến cải thiện quản lý, tăng cường hiệu suất hoạt động. CMP của Viettel như một hệ thống BSS (Business support system) thu nhỏ của nhà mạng dành cho doanh nghiệp với các tính năng: quản lý thuê bao, hợp đồng, đơn hàng, thanh toán, đăng ký…
Ngoài các tính năng cơ bản trên, Viettel CMP cung cấp một loạt lựa chọn nâng cao nhằm tối ưu hoá quá trình quản lý kết nối SIM trong môi trường IoT: tối ưu chi phí, cảnh báo tình trạng thiết bị, định vị thiết bị, tổng hợp và phân tích dữ liệu… Từ các thông tin này, doanh nghiệp có thể dễ dàng theo dõi trạng thái của thiết bị và sử dụng dữ liệu để xây dựng các ứng dụng phục vụ mục đích kinh doanh.
Chính nhờ vậy, nền tảng quản lý kết nối CMP của Viettel đã đạt hơn 500.000 kết nối thành công, tần suất sử dụng thường xuyên các tính năng tương đối cao. “Điều này cho thấy tính quan trọng và cần thiết của các tính năng này trong việc quản lý kết nối IoT của doanh nghiệp”, ông Quý nói.
Trên nền tảng này, công ty cũng cung cấp các giải pháp kết nối M2M IoT đa dạng qua 4G, NB-IoT cho camera theo dõi, ô tô, giám sát hành trình, máy thanh toán POS, thiết bị bán hàng, thiết bị đo điện nước, màn hình quảng cáo, loa thông minh… Chi phí chỉ từ 10.000 đồng mỗi tháng cho một kết nối và đội ngũ tư vấn nhiều kinh nghiệm, kết nối tốc độ cao, hệ thống quản lý miễn phí… Đơn vị cũng hỗ trợ hệ thống IoT Cloud cho phép quản lý điều khiển thiết bị một cách hiệu quả.
